About, Supertaste

About, Supertaste is a sunny, Brooklyn-based duo doing a disco revival in the way that Toro y Moi did back in the ’00s and ’10s. So, word to the wise, and FFO Goldroom and Washed Out.

Two dudes making indie dance music in Brooklyn. An extremely original story. The disco ball spins on in an eternal glow. The wooden warmth in the room smells and tastes exactly how you remember. Some songs just bring you there. Supertaste is an indie dance duo (Hundreds Thousands + Slug Father) from Brooklyn, NY. A pair with an appetite for deli sandwiches and disco. When you find yourself in the room with Supertaste, you’ll know. Get lost in HT’s glimmering curls and Slug’s delicate eyes. The smell of cigarettes and an overly strong cologne that reminds you of a cell phone salesman. The lights are hot and the music is hotter. See you on the dance floor. https://www.supertastemusic.com/ “The pair’s mission is to bring the sound of an ’80s walkman to the 21st century, giving listeners that warm feeling of walking to your favorite bodega after a night of dancing.” These sunshine boys are dropping a new song today, and you can check out New Noise‘s premiere of “Can’t Get You out of My Head” below.
